About Patrick Kanouse
Patrick’s poems have appeared in many journals and websites, including Hoosier Logic,
Smartish Pace, The Connecticut Review,The Evansville Review, Astropoetica, Connecticut
River Review, The Spoon River Poetry Review, and The Hyper Texts among others. He has
read his poetry in Evansville, Indiana, and Indianapolis at several venues.
You can hear him read his poem “Where Waters Meet” on The Connecticut Review’s radio
program Writers in the Attic hosted by Dr. Meredith Clermont-Ferrand.
He is a managing editor for Pearson Education, a technology publisher in Indianapolis.
Patrick lives with his wife, Gina, and their dogs, Riley and Kennedy, in Westfield, a
suburb north of Indianapolis.
In addition to other poems, Patrick is currently seeking a theater to perform his verse
drama titled Rasputin and is working on a new verse drama surrounding the events of
December 13, 1943, in Kalavryta, Greece (Wikipedia’s article).
